Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Information you give us: the website URL you ask us to scan; your email address (when you unlock a full report or subscribe to Watch); and payment details, which are entered directly with our payment processor (we never see or store full card numbers).
• Scan data: the results we derive by fetching your site’s publicly available pages (e.g. headers, robots.txt, structured data). We only read pages that are already public.
• Usage & device data: collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, browser/device type, and IP address. IP is also used transiently for rate-limiting and to protect against abuse.

How we use your information

• To run your scan and show your grade, and to email you the full report when you request it.
• To provide Watch: re-scanning your site weekly and emailing you when your grade changes.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To measure and improve the product, and to measure and serve advertising.
• To respond to you, and to keep the service secure and reliable.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand usage and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure and optimise advertising. To match ad conversions, your email may be shared with Meta in hashed (irreversible) form; we never share your raw email for advertising. These tools set cookies (including _fbp, _fbc, and Google’s _ga).

You can opt out using your browser’s cookie controls, the Google Analytics opt-out, and your Meta ad preferences.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting (scans, emails, subscriptions).
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Resend — sending your report and Watch emails.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Google (Analytics) and Meta (advertising), as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Retention

We keep your information while your scan, report, or subscription is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights & choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, unsubscribe from emails, or opt out of analytics and advertising. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection). If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete, and opt out of “sharing” for cross-context advertising; we do not sell personal information. Security & international transfers

We protect your data with encryption in transit and access controls, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries; where required, appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

Children

AgentGauge is a tool for website owners and is not directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
